Tororo

TORORO DISTRICT LEARNING PLATFORM    NEWSLETTERS 

In a partnership between Plan-Uganda, NETWAS-Uganda and Directorate of Water resources management in Entebbe, under the ACP EU WASH project, NETWAS facilitates knowledge management, learning and capacity building for the different stakeholder groups. NETWAS supports beneficiaries at district and community level in the sub counties of Merikit, Rubongi, Paya and Mukunju in Tororo district

Following the first session held in February 2012, the second learning session was held on 28th and 29th June 2012, at Sofitel Hotel, Tororo Town. Stakeholders included; CAO, District Water Officer LCV, DCDO, Health Inspector, and District School Inspector and the TSU representative.  The sub county representation included the sub county chiefs, chairpersons of sub counties of Community development officers, the Health Assistants and the Hand pump mechanics.  Read more

Kamuli

The kamuli Learning Platform News letter Issue 2

In a partnership between Plan-Uganda, NETWAS-Uganda and Directorate of Water resources management in Entebbe, under the ACP EU WASH project, NETWAS facilitates knowledge management, learning and capacity building for the different stakeholder groups. NETWAS supports beneficiaries at district and community level in the sub counties of mbulamuti, Kitayunjwa, Nabwigulu and Butansi, communities, Kamuli District.

The learning session held on 26th and 27th June 2012 at Kyemba Hotel, Kamuli Town, followed the first held in February 2012. It attracted stakeholders from the sub county level (Health Assistants, Community Development Officers and Chairperson LC 3) and the district level stakeholders ACAO, Heads of Departments from Water, Health, community development and Education) plus the media. The gender representation was 11 female and 21 male.  A background to the learning brought participants to date about the Project and the Partners involved.  Read more

ALEBTONG DISTRICT LEARNING PLATFORM NEWSLETTER

In partnership with Plan-Uganda, NETWAS-Uganda and Directorate of Water resources management in Entebbe, under the ACP EU WASH project, NETWAS facilitates knowledge management, learning and capacity building for the different stakeholder groups. NETWAS supports beneficiaries at district and community level in the sub counties of Barr, Apala, and Aloi in Alebtong district).

Following the first session held in February, a second session was organized on 21st and 22nd June 2012 at the district headquarters. It was attended by the LCV chair person, District finance administrator, District Health Inspector and Secretary for works; sub county chiefs, local council chair persons, community development officers, Health assistants, unfortunately, water sector was poorly represented.

Luwero

LUWEERO DISTRICT LEARNING PLATFORM      NEWSLETTER

In partnership with Plan-Uganda, NETWAS-Uganda and Directorate of Water resources management in Entebbe, under the ACP EU WASH project, NETWAS facilitates knowledge management, learning and capacity building for the different stakeholder groups. NETWAS supports beneficiaries at district and community level in the sub counties of Bombo, Kikyusa, Zirobwe and Nyimbwa (Luwero district).

Following the first session held in February, this learning session was held on 19th and 20th of June 2012 at the Luweero Diocese guest house in a bid to progress with, and strengthen the knowledge sharing platforms that had been established. Below were the session objectives.
